Jim Fanjoy, Metalsmith Welcome to my metalsmithing portfolio. I am a wandering artist whose work focuses mostly on functional pieces that represent the spirit of intangible feelings, relationships, and awarenesses. Occasionally, I do whimsical or formalistic pieces to test out new techniques or just give myself a break. I like working with all sorts of media, especially metal, leather, and fur. My art is for fun, not for a living, so my work is usually unique, highly detailed pieces that I would never be patient or crazy enough to do a second time.
