Men of Mettle
2002- Lavern Krause Gallery, Eugene, Oregon

In January of 2002, I participated in the Men of Mettle exhibition at the Laverne Krause Gallery in Eugene, Oregon. The show was conceived by Andrew Hunt after he noticed a commonality of themes in the work of local male metalsmiths, who are operating in a largely female- dominated field. Designed to showcase masculine interests rather than masculinity, we featured the metalwork of five men. Click here to learn more about Men of Mettle

Broad Horizons
2007- Kaldi's Coffeehouse, Galesburg, Illinois

Though I've been interested in photography since college, this exhibition represents my first foray into showing any of this work (you can read more about my concept and see images here). For a small, midwest town, Galesburg has a suprisingly active arts community and I am glad I got the opportunity to show and talk with everyone from a baker to a photography professor from the local college.
