The man who
trades freedom for security
does not deserve, nor will he ever receive, either.
-Benjamin Franklin
With the events of 9/11, Americans have seen in increase in percieved security
measures in aiports and elsewhere. Today, we allow ourselves to be stopped,
searched, and our personal posessions confiscated in the name of "safety".
This piece serves as a convenient way for Americans to keep critical, life-affecting
documents close at hand. The Constitution, Bill of Rights, and US PATRIOT Act are conveniently contained within a patriotic
binder. But if you take it on an airplane, security officers will give
you a chance to think more seriously about civil liberties when you pass through the X-ray
machine.
