"Martel" Sporran   2005 german silver.  8" high This sporran was crafted for an owner interested in medieval history, specifically during the Norman Conquest of England in the mid-11th century. The helm is patterned after historical pieces of the period, and the chainmail is the traditional 4-ring pattern (soldered at each link for durability).  It opens via a secret latch behind the hand-raised ridge of the helm.
