Computer Renderings
This is a design concept rendering for a
dentist's office for Leland Wilhoite DDS. It was eventually constructed
with a slightly different design arrangement. |
|
To assist the
client in understanding what their new facility would look like, I
modeled the WGE Federal Credit Union building in the computer and
plotted a large format rendering. The building, when completed, look
pretty much exactly like we'd imagined: click here to see it. |
|
Another bank
client gave me an ambiguous design direction, so I generated several
very different design options for them to think about. This
option is designed to accommodate passive solar heating in the winter.

Same bank
client. This version is based on traditional Scottish architecture of
the 16th century, a hobbyhorse of mine. |
|
Same
bank client. I call this the "80s Fabulous" version. Here, I proposed
making a bridge of the drive-under canopy, and puttting some neat
executive offices up there.
|
|
This is a
smaller version of the same bank, back when the scope of the
project was much less... |
|
This rendering was a concept
sketch for a gravestone monument company. I was experimenting with
textures and lighting to try to make the building (and the rendering)
more interesting. The owner of the company (Wilhoite) is ironically the
cousin of the client for the dentist office rendering above.

|
Here we have a
speculative medical building. The client wanted a rendering to sell
office space to medical specialists, before he started constructinng
the building.

In addition to these computer
renderings, the never-built UCO Tool & Die
project is available for your viewing.
